Judie and team,
I have just finished reading your comments and looking at the pictures. When you look in the eyes of those children, there is such hope and innocence present. I know each of you and they will be better for this experience. A student of mine emailed me from Iraq this week and says at night when he sees the stars, he feels that he is in touch with home because we are seeing the same ones. It would help each of us as citizens of this great world to realize that we ALL see the same of God's great creation and that we are ONE. Keep up the great work.

Purnell,

So glad you are able to share your trip with all of us. As I told you, you will come away so very blessed by all work you are doing for the Lord. May He watch over and protect all of you and bring you back safely to us!
I thank you for the work you are doing, just what Christ commanded us to do: go to all nations and preach His word and show His love to all.
God bless you all,
Gina

We had a wonderful 4th and everyone missed you and wishes you well. Named the pup "Rip." I take a chop, chop leason this afternoon. Roof will be finished tomorrow and looks good.

Love you, and you and Judie take care. I know the two of you are cracking right along.

Hey Mom (Purnell),
We are so thankful you are there and able to experience another part of the body of Christ. We love and miss you and pray you will be able to share the gospel with so many. You feel so far away, but yet safe in God's hands. Christy had her babies on the 3rd, they will call them Wes and Ellie; Wes was 5.2 lbs and Ellie 2.6 lbs, both doing amazing and breathing on their own. Praise the Lord!

Dear Purnell and Team:

I just wanted to send some love from back home and let you know we MISS you! You are doing such a noble thing in helping these children. We are proud of you and please know that what you are doing is actually MAKING A DIFFERENCE in this world! Please tell the children that they have a special group of people back in your hometown that cares about them and prays for them. Thank you for being you and doing what you do!

Greenes - We are praying for you daily. How wonderful to see the pictures. The one of your daughter looks like Beth when she was a j-men. Same tender expression. We will pray for your safety, that the time in Africa will be productive, and that there will be differences in you and all whom you encounter because you were there. God bless! Fran Street (and Steve and the girls) PS - Just two years ago we were at the J-men reunion together in Atlanta. My how time flies!

Thank you thank you for the pictures and messages. In the midst of the pain the joy is so apparent. God does truly hold all of you in the palm of his hand. Carol &Wayne, my niece Susan Lee, an internist and psychiatrist, is eager to come with us next summer. She has been twice to Haiti on mission trips. She will be a blessing to all of us. She will stay for the 3 wks. Am talking to others. Love and hugs, betsy G

WOW !! The internet is marvelous! I feel like I'm there! Judi, I just talked with Joy Layne and read her some of all of your blog comments. She is writing a letter to the Forum about Dr. Sydnor's generosity and wanted some information. She wants to say hi and let you know she's thinking of you all. Stay healthy - I can't wait to hear your stories in person.
